Zac Taylor born in 1993 is from Whakatane in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. Prior to his audition for The Edge competition he traveled to Orlando, Florida to sing at the Voice of McDonald's finals in early 2012. Taylor also states his favourite boy band is Boyz II Men.

Jordi Webber born 1994 is from Rotorua in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. He was a student in his first year of an acting degree before he auditioned for the boy band competition.

Shaquille Paranihi-Ngauma born in 1994 is from Gisborne and lived in Hamilton, Taranaki, New Zealand. Paranihi-Ngauma wasStudying Music at Wintec prior to his decision to audition for The Edge boy band. His favourite boy band is Nsync and cites Chris Brown as one of his biggest influences.

Andrew Papas born in 1994 is originally from South Africa and lives in Auckland, New Zealand. Before his audition for the radio station competition he was a part-time Barista. Papas has stated various times that he is a fan of English boy bands.

Haydn Linsley born in 1993 is originally from Bristol, England and lived in Palmerston North, Manawatu, New Zealand. Before joining the boy band he was a full-time student and part-time Barista. Linsley's grandfather is Tony Hatch, composer of the Neighbours theme tune and Petula Clark's "Downtown" among many others.

T.K Paradza born in 1986 is originally from Zimbabwe and lived in Wellington, New Zealand. Prior to participating in the boy band competition from local radio station The Edge his main occupation was studying Information systems at university.
